Maximizing profits in Truegold by farming volatiles . Elementium , and Pyrite in Uldum and twilight Highlands

There will be some reading here. The way to maximize your profits in Truegold is to farm as many materials as you can with a Miner and a Electrostatic-Condenser. This will require a Cataclysm Miner with Cataclysm Engineering.

Its not a whole lot of work to level a Miner in Cataclysm miningand engineering.  If you have some cash , learn Cataclysm Mining , then head to Twilight Highlands with your Miner and mine a bit there to level up a bit.  Then buy the Obsidium , and Elementium you can and smelt it over and over again to use smelting to increase your mining ability.  Once your mining skill is nearly capped out , head back to twilight to mine.  I am posting the location of the Twilight and Uldum and all other Cataclysm portals in Stormwind and Orgrimmar.  If you want to level by pure mining, which may be profitable depending on prices, head to Deepholm first then Uldum and Twilight Highlands to do pure mining.  I am posting Mining maps of all the Cataclysm Zones for your convenince.   Piece of advice  The water zone in Vash requires a quest chain for underwater breathing and can be confusing because of the 3d nature of the ores in Vash.

Then  ports to Cata zones. Both Ally and Horde.
 

Im going to head to Uldum first. I find the beauty of the desert and tropical river areas beautiful.  Its a good idea to set your hearth portal to somewhere close to the Orgrimmar or Stormwind Cataclysm portals.  In the case of the character I am useing I like to set her hearth to the Dwarven District , so I can hearth back when I need to sell.

Fly around Uldum at this point and go get rich.


In the above screen shot I am highlighting some water elementals that need to die. They produce 1 -4 Volatile water each when you loot them.  I like to aggravate a ton of them gather them together around my mage and rain of frost on them so I can multiple loot .  I then follow the below map of Twilight highlands and groove on some toons as I mine.

In twilight highlands it is best to follow the rivers and lake shores as you mine. You can maximize more profits by following the edge of the peaks also to get more ores.

I highlighted my paths. Find your own groove and set up a repeating pathway and play some toons and mine.  AS you go you will find other elementals . I marked them in red. But the electrostatic condenser will do a lot of the heavy lifting as you mine as it gathers Volatiles.  If you can find deals on the Auction house for the truegold ingredients.
