SO folks just for your info Its breaking the TERMS OF SERVICE in the game to threaten or insult someone and even more of a NO NO to try and Blackmail someone.

I would hate for someones account to be permabanned.

That's pro level thuggery. Anyone who attempts to blackmail another player in a game that's supposed to be enjoyable SHOULD be perma-banned. Glad you named them as a warning so others are not taken in. It's okay to shine light on darkness.
Doing so only protects other players. IMO

I realize I'm late to the party but an attempt to scam me for gold happened about a month ago. I was looking for Loque, the spirit beast for my Hunter. I was flying around the Shalozar Basin when I received a whisper. "Are you looking for Loque? I'll tell you where he is for 1,000 gold." I told this person they were a %@#^& #%&*%^!and promptly blocked them. "Play as cautious as a serpent, but innocent as a dove."
