I've got an RTX 3070 in my DIY machine. The reason I run it is because it's decently powerful for 1080/1440p at a good refresh rate but it's very cheap and easy to find on the secondhand market. When mining was inflating graphics card prices, a lot of people were buying pre-built PCs with 3070s in them and a lot of them have since upgraded their cards so you can find a lot of good, barely used cards out there.

I've got a Asus 4080 because my POS Zotac 3080 died a month after the warranty expired. I'd definitely recommend it but it is WAY overkill for WoW

My laptop runs a Nvidia 3060 6GB, I would say it's still a performance loss over the desktop version

3060ti on the desktop. Notice a huge difference in FPS in higher content
